PaNorAmA 31A 13July88
Disk one from the July 1988 General Meeting.
Disk Contents:
Engine:
An animation by Panorama club member Ron Tarrant using Animate
3-D. NewMovie is a freeware player used to display the animation.
This one is unusual in having sound played along with it.
Author: Ron Tarrant
Float:
Takes any WorkBench icon (Disk, Drawer, Tool, Project, etc.) and
"unsnapshots" it allowing WorkBench to move the icon where it
thinks is the best place for it.
Author: Khalid Aldoseri.
Julia:
A program for exploring Julia sets - another fractal similar to
the Mandelbrot set. The difference is that there are many Julia
sets. A nicely done program with full set of menus to explore the
set.
Author: Richie Bielak.
Orbit3D:
A nitfty game! You are the pilot of a small space vehicle in
orbit, along with your Mother Ship, around a large black hole in
space. Your vechicle is supplied with oxygen for life support,
fuel for maneuvering, and torpedoes for destruction of asteroids
captured by the gravitational force of the black hole. The object
of the game is simply to survive in orbit as long as possible.
Author: Richard Horne.

Special thanks to Charlie Gibbs and Larry Phillips. Without Charlie we
wouldn't be able to copy two disks at these meeting, and Larry supplies
the material for at least one disk each month - sometimes for both.
